Combining the creative insight, musical passion and technical abilities of Eloi Le Blanc-Ringuette and André Heights, Elo!i & Heights (E&H) is a Dubstep duo from Montreal, Canada. They’ve been DJing and producing together since July 2010, after joining forces in what seemed like an unlikely yet highly compatible partnership, considering that they both originate from very different fields of music. In fact, Eloi has studied classical music in high-school and André has several years of recording, mixing and mastering under his belt, having worked on hip hop, house and everything in between.
Elo!i & Heights incessantly provide mad basslines and filthy sounds that will leave your ears craving for more. They’ve played alongside renowned international artists such as Skrillex, Dillon Francis, 12th Planet and J.Rabbit, Feed Me (Spor), Calvertron, AC Slater, Chasing Shadows, Dirtyphonics, DJ Hype, Ajapai, 6Blocc, Roksonix, Bar9, Ashburner, Mark Instincts, Kill The Noize, Chrispy, Nit Grit, Blokhe4d and Mt Eden. Ever since they’ve started producing music together, they’ve dedicated most of their time on studio work and club gigs. They’ve played the vast
majority of the biggest venues in Montreal, such as Stereo Nightclub, Club Soda, Telus Theatre, SAT, etc. Catch their live sets to see this energetic tag team bouncing to beats like there’s no tomorrow, dropping songs that you simply wish you had in your playlist. Accordingly, they’re booked on a regular basis in Montreal and are an inherent part of the line-up for the two biggest events held at the notorious Le Belmont : a huge monthly called Kannibalen (celebrating its first anniversary in September 2011) and the biggest weekly in the city, Bass Drive, hosted by DJ Vilify.
Elo!i & Heights have releases on Beatport with Monkey Dub Recordings and are always working hard at trying to push their sound to new horizons. Fueling and sharing their passion for music is their number one priority, so it’s no surprise that their fan base is growing bigger every week!
